What people said after their session

"I was looking for an internship for two years and could barely get any interviews. I reached out to Wasay and he showed me how my resume was very generic and showed me how to make a resume from a recruiter's point of view, what they look for, and how to choose the right keywords to pass ATS scanners. Immediately after getting his help, I landed two interviews at OPG and RBC and ended up getting an offer within the next 2 months."

"Before talking to Wasay, I'd freeze up and ramble in interviews. He broke down the whole process, taught me the STAR technique, and gave me honest feedback. I walked into my co-op interviews feeling confident and in control."

"Wasay's insights were very structured and demonstrated his experiences well. You can tell he's someone who has really gone through the hardship of the job search journey himself. It was a pleasure to chat and hear from him."

Why work with me

I've been on both sides of the resume

I built a resume scorer

My AI tool reads job postings and scores resumes against them, the way hiring software does. I know what it's looking for before a human ever sees your resume.

QA, dev and PM experience

I've worked in quality engineering, frontend development and project management, so I can help whether you're going for software, product or business roles.

Proof it works

3 internships and 2 awards, with a result in every bullet on my resume. It's the same method we'll use on yours.

About

I'm a student too. I just figured some of this out first.

I'm Wasay, a fourth-year Computer Science student at Ontario Tech. I've been rejected plenty, and I've also landed three internships across QA, development and project management, won the Chris Penny Leadership Award, and founded HackHive, a 304-person hackathon backed by sponsors like Microsoft, Google and AWS.

I started reviewing resumes for free because friends kept asking. Then I built an AI tool that scores resumes against job postings, and it showed me exactly why so many good students get filtered out. Now I tell you what I'd want someone to tell me: what's working, what isn't, and exactly how to fix it.

No fluff. Just what actually gets interviews.

Questions

Before you book

Who are sessions for?

Students and recent grads applying for co-ops, internships or full-time roles, in any major: tech, business, engineering, science and more. First-years with no experience are welcome; we'll work with projects, clubs and part-time jobs.

What should I bring?

Nothing extra. You upload your resume and add the jobs you're applying to when you book. For mock interviews, add the company and role you're interviewing for.

Can you get me a referral or guarantee an offer?

No. Sessions cover resume and interview coaching only. I don't sell referrals or promise outcomes, and nobody honest can.

How do I pay?

By card, right on this page when you book. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, so I never see your card details.

What if I need to reschedule?

Email me at least 24 hours before your session to reschedule, or for a full refund.
